I provide comprehensive wealth management services tailored to each client’s unique needs, using a balanced approach that incorporates multiple asset classes and management styles to build well-structured portfolios while managing risk thoughtfully.
With nearly 45 years in the investment industry—beginning in 1979 and joining Stifel in 1998—I draw on decades of experience to offer perspective in an ever-changing market environment. My goal is to leverage my experience to provide insight and perspective in a continually changing market environment, helping clients make informed decisions that align with their goals and risk tolerance.
I earned a B.A. in Advertising from Drake University and hold Series 7, 63, and 65 securities licenses, as well as life and variable insurance licenses (including annuities).
Personal
I have a long history of being committed to my community, having served as past president of the board for Remedies Renewing Lives, a local domestic violence shelter in Rockford, Illinois. Outside of work, I’m the head football coach at Rockford Lutheran and a member of Forest Hills Country Club. My wife, Michele, and I enjoy time with our two adult children, Tyler and Emily, and our five wonderful grandchildren.
My primary value system that informs my financial advising is thoughtful planning and service. Since joining Stifel in 2018, I’ve focused on building strong relationships with our clients. My approach begins with listening—learning about each client’s goals, values, and priorities—so we can develop strategies that align with their unique circumstances. Whether it’s planning for retirement, managing risk, or navigating life’s transitions, I strive to provide guidance that helps clients make informed decisions for their financial future.
Before joining Stifel, I worked with high-net-worth partners of a large international ministry, assisting them in facilitating charitable donations. This experience reinforced my belief that wealth planning is about more than numbers—it’s about service.
I hold Series 7, 63, and 65 securities licenses, as well as life and variable insurance licenses.

I grew up in South Florida before returning to Rockford, Illinois. When the seasons allow, I enjoy longboarding and snow skiing, and I take any opportunity to travel. Day-to-day, I find fulfillment in weightlifting and cooking with intention. In my free time, I love diving into books or exploring content on finance, psychology, and languages.
